Inspired by their Grammy nominated song “Colony of Birchmen” and to celebrate the release of their 8th studio album ‘Hushed and Grim’, Phantom have collaborated with prog-metal legends Mastodon to create a groundbreaking vodka.

But is it really a vodka? Technically speaking, it’s a fiery young whiskey (prepped in barrels provided by the estimable Stauning Whiskey), packed with robust oak and the sweetness of Russian birch juice.

Historically, prisoners were disciplined with birch rods only from a 'thoroughly tested’ national stock. The Judicial Birch. The Manx Birch. Uncompromising, fierce, leaving an indelible mark on the victim. Sweet, sweet pain.
