Barrel aged beer has spent months or years in a cask that held bourbon, rum, wine or cognac. That gives it depth: vanilla, oak, dried fruit, sometimes a hint of smoke. Many of these beers rarely show up in Dutch shops: small runs from breweries in Canada, the US, Estonia and Latvia. Every beer shows its current Untappd score.

Frequently asked questions
How much is shipping?
Shipping depends on the country. In the Netherlands you pay €6.95 to a DPD pickup point and €8.50 for home delivery; from €75 shipping is free. Prices for all 29 countries are on our shipping page.
How fast will my order arrive?
Order before 3 pm on a working day and we ship the same day. Within the Netherlands a parcel is on its way for 1.4 working days on average. That is our experience, not a guarantee.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes, to 29 countries. Within the EU we deliver with DPD, to the UK, Norway and Switzerland with PostNL. Outside the EU you pay no Dutch VAT; import charges and alcohol duty are paid on delivery.
Can I visit the shop?
Yes, our shop is at Leeghwater 5, 3825 MR Amersfoort, the Netherlands. The current opening hours are on our opening hours page.
Do you charge a deposit?
Yes. Cans and bottles carry a deposit (can €0.15, bottle €0.10 to €0.50). It is required by law, also when we ship abroad.
How old do I need to be to order?
We only sell alcohol to people aged 18 and over. The courier may ask for ID on delivery.
