Session IPA or pale ale?
The difference is small, but it exists: according to the BJCP, an American pale ale is maltier, more balanced and less pronounced in hoppiness and bitterness than a session IPA. If you want that softer beer, have a look at the pale ales. For more alcohol and more hops, see all IPAs.

Fresh is better
Store it cool and drink it fresh, because storing it warm comes at the expense of the hop aroma. A good starting point is 7–10 °C.
