Meer over Milk stout
What is the difference from other stouts?
Milk stout is much sweeter and less bitter than most other stouts. Classically it usually has 4–6% alcohol; this collection also includes stronger imperial milk stouts. Avoiding lactose? In the EU it falls under the allergen milk; check the label of each beer.
Want it even sweeter, with chocolate or vanilla? See the pastry stouts. You can read the history of the milk stout in the Beer School on milk stout.
