A brewery on a farm in Caledon

The American newsletter Prost Profiles ran a profile of Troy Baxter/Badlands Brewing. It says the Canadian farm brewery makes hazy IPAs and that it would be pouring at the Rochester Real Beer Expo. The available sources say nothing about the founding year, the equipment or the exact history, so we leave it at that.
Hazy IPAs and the #SELECT series
IPA is the core of Badlands. The brewery sells merchandise with texts like 'IPA Factory' and 'My Badlands IPA', and the press mainly mentions the hazy IPAs.
On Untappd, a few of our beers are rated highly: Badlands August DIPA, Double Riri and several beers from the #SELECT series, such as #SELECT - RIWAKA, #SELECT - PEACHARINE and versions with BBA in the name. These are mostly double IPAs and heavier beers, so expect full, robust flavours.
Badlands at Hoptimaal
From Badlands we've mostly had IPAs so far, along with a few stouts. The strength ranges from 6.5 to 11.9 percent. Most of the beers come in a 47.3 cl package, some in 50 cl or 47 cl. What's in stock changes, so check the webshop for the current range.
Drink the hoppy beers as fresh as possible and well chilled, around 5 to 7 °C. That brings out the aromas best. Store them cold if you can and don't wait too long to open them. The heavier beers, such as stouts and beers with BBA in the name, you drink more slowly and a little warmer, so the depth and sweetness come out better.
