A brewery in an old horse stable
Blood Brothers Brewing is in Toronto, at 165 Geary Avenue. The building is a converted horse stable, a hundred years old, in the artists' district around Geary Avenue. According to Ontario Craft Brewers, Dustin and Brayden Jones are the founders.
Inside there is room for 50 guests, and in the warmer months a patio for another 50 is added. In the taproom, up to 26 of their own beers are on tap. The kitchen serves Southern comfort, with all the meat smoked in-house using oak staves from the barrels in which Blood Brothers matures its beer. There is also a bottle shop with fridges full of cans and bottles to take away. The brewery is open seven days a week.
Beer with a wide range
Blood Brothers doesn't keep it narrow. Ontario Craft Brewers lists Blood Light Pale Ale and Shumei IPA as regular names, supplemented with rotating variants of Paradise Lost, a sour ale. In their own webshop you'll find, among others, Paradise Lost with blueberry, vanilla and spices, Saxon Black, Xaphan and Blau Brau, all in 473 ml cans.
A reviewer on YouTube described Guilty Remnant as a white stout with coffee, vanilla and lactose, 6% in a 473 ml can. Barrels play a role at the brewery: the oak staves the kitchen uses for smoking come from the barrels in which their beer matures.

Drink the IPA as fresh as possible and well chilled, so the hops stay at their best. The strong stouts ask for more patience: take them out of the fridge a quarter of an hour before opening, pour into a smaller glass and take your time. Sharing is allowed, at 13.5% it's even sensible.
