What is a Stout? Stout is a family of very dark to black, top-fermented beers with a roasted character, often towards coffee or chocolate. There is a lot of variation: from dry and bitter to sweet and full.
Serving: 10–13 °C, in a pint glass (imperial stout: snifter)
About this beer
Two years of slumber in Stagg Jr. bourbon barrels turn this imperial stout into a deep, dark heavyweight at 12.5% ABV. Big, bold and unapologetically dark.
Expect molasses, dark chocolate and Black Mission figs, built on a base of malted oats and dark specialty malts. With this strength and a long barrel rest, it is a beer to sip slowly.
Brewery
Tired Hands is a craft brewery from the United States. For this beer, they combined malted oats with a range of dark specialty malts.
