Overview

Blueberry, grape, blackberry, plum and pineapple come together in a thick, fruit-forward smoothie sour that leans more toward juice than tartness. Arpus Brewing Co. builds this one around a creamy texture you don't usually find in a sour ale.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, dark berries lead the way, with blueberry and blackberry upfront and a sweet-tart layer of plum and grape underneath. Pineapple adds a tropical lift to the finish. The mouthfeel is full and smooth, almost like a fruit smoothie, with a gentle acidity that never overtakes the fruit. At 4.5% ABV, it stays easy to drink.
