King of May showcases Verdant's signature approach to the TIPA category: 10% ABV wrapped in their hallmark hazy, hop-forward style. An unfiltered triple IPA proving that substantial alcohol and drinkability aren't mutually exclusive.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, expect tropical fruit — mango, passionfruit — backed by citrus peel. The palate delivers that juicy, almost smoothie-like texture Verdant's known for. The 10% alcohol registers as warming in the finish, never harsh. Hop character remains front and center: initially sweet-tropical, then gently resinous with a dry, moderately bitter close.

Cornwall-based Verdant built their reputation since 2014 on juicy, hazy, hop-forward beers inspired by the New England craft scene. Their focus stays on balance and drinkability, even in heavier styles like this triple IPA.
