Only Imperial Stouts and Barleywines from the barrel
Private Press is a brewery that makes only Imperial Stouts and Barleywines and ages them in barrels. Blending is at the heart of it: the brewery combines the most lively lines from its barrel cellar into a beer that, in their words, is bold, round and distinctive.
They call every release a fusion of flavour, intention and vision. So don't expect hoppy beers, but heavy, malt-driven beers in which the barrel plays a big part.
Private Press Brewing at Hoptimaal
With us you'll find Private Press as barleywine and stout, packed in 50 cl bottles. The strength ranges from 13.6 to 18.3 percent. Private Press Beyond Forever (Batch 6) and Private Press Electric Roads (Batch 5 and Batch 6) are among the highest-rated beers on Untappd.
Take your time with these beers and don't serve them ice cold: at around 12–14 °C the barrel and malt aromas come across best. A 50 cl bottle is easily shared between two, in small glasses. Store the bottles cool and dark.
