Friends from design, music and skate culture
Atone calls itself an independent craft brewery, started by a close-knit group of friends with a background in design, music, brewing and skate culture. They grew up with distorted guitars, concrete ramps, DIY ethics and late nights: subcultures where style meant nothing without substance.
On Untappd, Atone is listed as a Nano Brewery in Hengelo, Overijssel. The sources say nothing about the founding year or the brewing system, so we leave those out.
English and American classics, brewed with restraint
According to Atone itself, the beers are rooted in classic English and American styles, made with modern techniques and a clear sense of restraint. No shortcuts, no chasing trends, no gimmicks: beers with balance, bite and identity.
The core range shows this. Roots is a 6.8% West Coast IPA with 46 IBU and Simcoe. Lakini's Juice is a 7.2% New England/Hazy IPA with Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe. Steambreather is a 4.5% dry-hopped California Common. Sure Shot (Wheat Ale, U.S. Weizen) is also part of the range, as is Engine No9, an American Stout.
