A family brewery in North Tallinn
Tuletorn is a family-owned brewery in Tallinn. In their own words, they brew small batches of the beers that spark their imagination. Their aim is to bring the fun back into the world of craft beer.
You can order their beer online, or drop by their taproom in North Tallinn. On Untappd, Tuletorn is listed as a brewpub, and the brewery has been officially claimed there. The number of beers they have registered there is now considerable: 138. Proof that they like to keep varying things.
Smoothie sours, pastry stouts and DDH IPAs
Tuletorn's calling card is the smoothie sour, inspired by favourite sweets. Rabav is a forest beer with spruce tips, heather honey and berries. Apricrush combines apricot with sea buckthorn, and Memme Musi is a sour based on apple-rhubarb pie, brewed for the brewery's second anniversary.
They also brew imperial stouts with a sweet touch, such as Kirju Koer with orange peel, chocolate, vanilla and raisin. The name refers to a well-known Estonian dessert. On the hoppy side there is Luftkuss, among others, a hazy triple IPA with Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin and Columbus.
They also collaborate with other brewers. They made Fika Fanclub with Pühaste, and Wee Brita, a sour based on a traditional Estonian brita cake, with Vault City Brewing.

We have carried five Tuletorn beers, four of which are in stock now. That's four sour beers and one IPA, all in 44 cl, with an alcohol content between 5 and 6.5%.

Drink the beers cool and as fresh as possible. That goes especially for the IPA, where the hops have to do the work. The smoothie sours are sweet and fruity, and come across best when you pour them well chilled from the fridge.
