According to the brewery, the story begins with the ancestors of the Rojnik family. They planted the first hops 120 years ago in the heart of the Savinja Valley, a region in Slovenia. Green Gold Brewing calls those hops from its own area the most important guide for the brewery.
You'll find the brewery at Spodnje Grušovlje 2 in Šempeter v Savinjski dolini, in the municipality of Žalec. They also welcome visitors: a tour takes about 30 minutes, including tasting several beers. You need to book in advance, with a minimum of six people.
