Salikatt from Stavanger
Salikatt is listed on Untappd as a microbrewery in Stavanger, in the Norwegian region of Rogaland. That is what we can say for certain.
We have no reliable source for the year it was founded, the people behind the brewery or the brewing setup, so we leave those out. We'd rather have a short page than an invented story.
Mostly hoppy, with some outliers at the top
Looking at the range, Salikatt is first and foremost an IPA brewery. Besides that, a stout, a lager and a sour beer have passed through, so it isn't just one style.
The strength runs from 5.2 to 14.7%. That points to everything from easy-drinking beers to much heavier specials.
On Untappd these beers are highly rated: Salikatt Black Silk, Salikatt 10th Anniversary #6, Salikatt 10th Anniversary #7, Salikatt Front Runner, Salikatt Clouds of Citrus and Salikatt Even Keel.
Salikatt at Hoptimaal
We had thirteen Salikatt beers in stock, of which three are available now. Almost everything comes in 44 cl; one beer comes in 37.5 cl. The range changes, so check the webshop for what's in right now.
Drink the IPAs as fresh as possible and cold, so the hops and aroma come out best. With the stronger beers, take your time: let them warm up a little after the fridge and pour them slowly, so you taste more than just cold.
