Overview

A Latvian smoothie sour that combines four fruits into a thick, soft and surprisingly sessionable beer at 4.5%. Ārpus opts for a pronounced fruit cocktail where strawberry, black currant, pineapple and coconut alternate rather than blend into one vague sweetness.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, expect ripe strawberry with a hint of coconut cream. The palate shows a soft, creamy texture where black currant initially leads with gentle tartness, followed by pineapple sweetness and a coconut-like finish. The sourness stays subtle in the background – more yogurt than lemon. The finish is short and lightly fruity, without sticky residual sweetness.
