Basqueland Boyicao

Overview

Boyicao is a full-bodied Imperial Pastry Stout where Basqueland takes the dessert beer concept to new heights. At 12.5% ABV with generous additions of cocoa powder, dark chocolate and hazelnut, this is a stout meant for slow sipping.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, expect rich chocolate and roasted malt upfront, followed by hazelnut and caramel undertones. The palate delivers dark chocolate alongside sweet baked malt character, carried by an almost syrupy body. The finish lingers with bittersweet chocolate and a warming alcohol presence. Dark, creamy and thoroughly indulgent.

Serving

Serve at 10-12°C in a tulip glass or snifter. Pairs exceptionally with dark chocolate desserts or stands alone as dessert itself.
