Hop Outta Here is Mikkeller's take on the IPA: a Danish beer at 6.4% ABV, sold in a 440 ml format. It sits squarely in the hop-driven side of the Copenhagen brand's range.

Tasting Notes

An IPA puts hops first, so expect hop aroma and a bitter finish over the malt base. At 6.4% ABV there is enough body to carry that hop character without turning heavy. The finer details are best discovered in the glass.

Brewery

Mikkeller was founded in 2006 in Copenhagen by home brewers Mikkel Bjergsø and Kristian Klarup Keller. It works as a gypsy brewer, brewing at host breweries rather than in a brewhouse of its own.

Serving

Serve chilled, around 6 to 8 °C, in a tulip or IPA glass; it pairs well with spicy food such as curry or a burger.
