Overview

This 9.5% quadrupel takes its name from the brewery's founding year. A dark, layered beer with rich malt character and subtle sweetness reminiscent of dark fruits and caramelised sugar.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, expect aromas of plums, raisins and a hint of clove. The palate is full and rounded with notes of dried fruit, dark candy sugar and a warming alcoholic body. The mouthfeel is smooth with gentle carbonation. The finish lingers long with sweet malt richness and a light bitterness.
