A brewery from western New York
Mortalis was founded in 2017, but according to the brewery itself, its origins go back much further. It started in the west of New York State. In 2017 Mortalis won the Brew business plan competition in Livingston County. In August 2018 the doors in Avon officially opened.
After that, the brewery successfully funded a Kickstarter and grew its brewing capacity by 500 percent compared to the start. Mortalis also collaborated with a number of the best craft breweries in the world, the brewery writes on its own website.
Experimental, fruity beer with its own vision
Mortalis says it was the first to brew an everything bagel DIPA and a strawberry cheesecake milkshake IPA. That fits a brewery known for fruity beers and experimental styles.
According to the brewery, the goal remains to make the best beer possible. The starting point is that beer is about human connection: we are all mortal, with stories to tell, dreams to live and beers to share.

Drink the IPA as fresh as possible and well chilled, so the hops stay sharp. Pour sour beers with fruit cool, but not ice cold, so the fruit flavour comes out better. With the stronger beers, take your time and don't hesitate to share a 47.3 cl pack with someone.
