A brewery in Formello next to its own restaurant
Ritual Lab is in Formello, in the Lazio region. Its own site says the brewery has been around since 2015 and calls itself a leader in the Italian craft scene. The Faenza family is behind the brewery.
Next to the brewery, that family opened Mogano, a restaurant with a wood-inspired interior and only five tables. One of the sons, Matteo, works in the kitchen. The idea behind it, according to the Michelin Guide: to show craft beer as a full-fledged companion to gastronomic food. On the Ritual Lab site, Mogano is listed as a close collaboration with the brewery.
Quality, character and its own barrel programme
According to the brewery, the highest quality standards, its own character and innovation define all their beers. A notable part is the Ritual Barrel Project, the line of barrel-aged beers.
The website also shows a series of awards: Brewery of the Year in 2020, 2022 and 2024, Brewer of the Year in 2020 and European Beer Star in 2021.
